Rizwan is a UK qualified lawyer with over 10 years’ of complex litigation experience, having represented major Lloyds of London insurers for the majority of his career. He has High Court, Appeal Court, and Technology and Construction Courts experience, and has represented clients across a range of sectors, most notably in sports, construction, transport, healthcare, and technology.
Rizwan relocated to Dubai in April 2022 and represents corporate clients with disputes in the UAE and the UK, and those who have an interest in incorporating start-ups in the region, with an emphasis on Fintech and blockchain tech companies. He currently represents a number of clients who have developed their own crypto exchanges; metaverse entities; NFT projects; and he provides commercial legal advice to those clients when it comes to setting up, seeking investment, negotiating contracts, and execution of projects.
He was previously an operations manager at a top 100 UK law firm leading a team of over 20 lawyers in a busy department.
Rizwan has also written a number of insightful articles on Crypto and dispute resolution which have featured in The Oath.
Admitted to the roll of Solicitors of the Senior Courts of England and Wales – 2013.
